March is Women’s History Month. Today we honor: Madeleine Albright. Madeline Albright was the first woman to hold the post of US Secretary of State. In 1978 she joined the National Security Council and started to establish herself as an expert in foreign affairs. She was then later named the US ambassador in the United Nations by President Bill Clinton. Along with her tremendous work as Secretary of State, Albright also wrote Madam Secretary, The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America and Memo to the President Elect.
