Politics have a significant impact on the environment. Leaders we vote into office now can have a lasting effect on the environment. In the future we should all be aware of what candidates stand for, so in the coming years the environment can be the best it could possibly be. Issues like deforestation, which will leave only 10% of our worldwide rainforests left by 2030, are heavily influenced by our politicians that we elect. We need to spread information about candidates that have plans for these problems before it becomes too late. In order to help save our environment, we need to better inform ourselves about our political leaders. Take the time to inform yourself of local, state, and national candidates. Information brought to you by the Environmental Club.

Virtual College Visits continue to take place on a daily basis. Students can now use the Zoom links for these visits on their Chromebooks! Please note – when you click on the Zoom link, if you are not directed into the Zoom meeting, look toward the bottom of your screen for a link with text that reads “Join from Your Browser”. This will allow you to attend from your school-issued device. Next week’s lineup of colleges includes: Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Muhlenberg College, University of Rhode Island, Monmouth University, Paul Smith’s College, George Washington University, Fairfield University, Rollins College, and Florida Institute of Technology.
