The South Windsor High School Career Center offers a variety of assistance to students and parents preparing for post-secondary opportunities. It is located in the School Counseling office and can also be accessed from the hallway outside School Counseling.
Students visit the Career Center to do any of the following:
• Ask for assistance with Naviance
• Check out the Job Board of part-time employment opportunities
• Attend college visits
• Get help with CommonApp and other college applications
• Help with writing and editing college essays
• Get materials from college admissions offices and military branches
• Borrow books on careers, college majors, resume and cover letter writing and more
• Find a quiet place to work during a study hall or lunch wave
Appointments are not required, but may be made with Mrs. Carty to guarantee personal time and attention.
Hours: M-F: 7 AM – 3 PM
