South Windsor High School Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

Mission:
To provide a link between high school parents, teachers, students, administration, and the entire South Windsor community. The PAC aims to inform, educate, and act in support of SWHS families and students.

Goals:

  • Strengthen the School/Family/Community Partnership.
  • Share and connect the views of parents/guardians at SWHS.
  • Encourage high communication between parents/guardians and faculty/administration.
  • Partner with booster organizations, teacher representatives, and administration on events, tasks, or informational programs.

Meetings:

  • Open to all SWHS families.
  • Held monthly (except December, April, and June) during the school year.
  • Include school-wide updates, events, and focus groups on student and community needs.
  • Connect to the Portrait of a Graduate, embodying the educational experience of all SWHS students.

  • Stay engaged with your child’s school community.
  • Share your time or talent on projects.
  • Stay informed about school activities and academic progress.
  • Meet new parents and gain insights on school issues.
