Registration Instructions

Registrations for participation in the Athletics Program at South Windsor High School are processed online through PowerSchool. Follow the steps below to begin the registration process:
  • Sign into your PowerSchool (Parent Portal) account Click Here.
  • If you have more than one child in the school system, select the appropriate child at the top
  • Click on “Forms” in the left hand column
  • Select the “SWHS [Fall/Winter/Spring] Athletic Registration” link; complete the form (in its entirety) and submit

In order to participate on the first day of tryouts, all parts of the online registration form must be complete. A current Physician’s Statement must be turned in to the high school's main office - no exceptions!

Physician's Statement Form
  •  Required only once per academic year
•  Must be dated after June 1, 2023
Sports Participation Fees (checks made payable to South Windsor High School):
  •  $125 per sport with a $500 family cap (all sports except Hockey and Gymnastics)
•  $400 per sport with a $800 family cap for Hockey and Gymnastics 
  Participation Fees: Please submit payment by either using My School Bucks* or drop off/mail a check to South Windsor High School, 161 Nevers Road, South Windsor, CT 06074. Make checks payable to South Windsor High School and indicate the student-athlete’s full name and sport on the memo line. *Note there is a small processing fee when using My School Bucks.*

Registration Deadlines

*REMEMBER:  You must register your child for each athletic season, even if they played a sport in a previous season.

In order to participate on the first day of tryouts, all 3 parts of the athletic registration below must be complete: 1.) online registration 2.) submission of the Physician's Statement dated after June 1, 2023 turned in to the high school's main office (*Note: the physician statement only needs to be submitted once/year for athletics). 3.) the sports participation fee must be submitted by check to the high school main office or made through myschool bucks

Registration deadlines are listed below for Spring 2024 sports.  Registrations submitted after these deadlines are not guaranteed to be processed in time for tryouts and an athlete missing the deadline will be required to sit out at least one day of tryouts.  Every athlete will still get at least 2 days to tryout.  Contact the SWHS main office (860) 648-5000 with any questions.

*NOTE: Baseball and Softball Pitchers & Catchers (Limited to 14 as determined by Varsity Coach of each sport) may begin Monday, March 11, 2024 for 5 days of conditioning.
