CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Cricket club will meet on Wednesday October first at the Annex Baseball field next to the tennis court from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Please have your Cricket bat ready. Snacks will be provided. Please see Mr. Ly in AN 39 or Sohan Patro for questions.
FCCLA will be having their second meeting on Wednesday, October 1st from 2:15-3 in Annex Room 11. We will be discussing fundraising and community service projects, voting for board members, and getting to know more about this leadership club! If you would like to vote in the election, please return your membership form with your club dues to Chef Sullivan before or at the meeting! See Chef Sullivan with any questions or to get a membership application!
Interested in working with clay? Want to try using a potter's wheel? Try Clay Club! For the next three weeks we will be moving to Wednesdays 2-3:30 in room 6. Can't make it this week - no problem, join our google classroom (nxcf56d) for updates.
Do you have writing assignments you could use help with? Come to the Writing Center! The Writing Center is a chance for you to get 1 on 1 help from a peer tutor on any writing assignment. They can help you brainstorm, revise a draft, and more! We open this Wednesday, October 1st. The Writing Center is available during study hall periods in the media center during select periods and after school on late bus days (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Join the Hispanic Latino Student Alliance for our next meeting on Wednesday, October 1st. HLSA will be meeting every Thursday from 2:15 to 3:15. Everyone is welcome. We will be discussing our upcoming Hispanic Heritage Fair that will be taking place on October 15th!
A new program from Model Mindset, in collaboration with S.W. Youth & Family Services, is now available to all high school students. The fun and engaging "Ignite" leadership program will start soon, so don't wait! To learn more, scan the QR code on the flyer in the cafeteria hallway.
ATHLETICS:
Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team for their sweep of Manchester on Monday Night. All 3; Freshman lead by Kincso Kohuticus serves, JV lead by Zoe Bailey hitting and Varsity lead by Kailie Girard all came away with wins.
Please come out and support the teams this Friday as they host a “Dig Pink” Match vs I-5 rivals, the Enfield Eagles, in hopes of bringing more awareness and support to our Fight against Breast Cancer. Game starts for Freshman and JV at 4:00pm!
