SCHOOL NEWS:
Get ready! This year’s Homecoming Pep Rally on Thursday, October 23rd is going to be bigger and better than ever! Most of the Pep Rally will be class competitions, where each grade goes head-to-head for the ultimate Homecoming prize and bragging rights. Don’t worry, we are keeping fan favorites too - there will still be a game for our fall team captains and athletes, plus the legendary class officer musical chairs scavenger hunt.
Fill out this form if you are interested in competing. Remember, you’ll be representing your grade. If lots of students sign up, we’ll randomly select participants from the form to compete. And here’s the twist - teachers will be jumping in to take you on in every single game!
Questions? Stop by Room 166 to see Mrs. Stewart.
Please fill out the form on your grade Google Classroom's page for a chance at competing and representing your grade

All tickets must be purchased through ParentSquare/StudentSquare. If you have any questions, please contact Miss Goslin in room 233.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Korean Club meeting will be held on Wednesday October 22nd at 2:05 PM in room AN 56. We hope to see you there!
The Environmental Club will be hosting several all school events where students can volunteer and earn community service hours while learning about the environment. Our first event is Friday Oct 24 where students will be applying labels to the storm drains around school property. These labels identify that only rain water should be put in the storm drain since all water goes into Plum Gully Brook in front of the school. Come help out to keep our surrounding watershed clean! Meet in Room 206 at 2:10pm on Oct 24. See Mrs. Eitel with any questions.
This month’s Cooking Club theme is Scream Cuisine. We will be cooking on October 23rd at 2:05 PM in the Annex Kitchen. Our menu for this month includes: Hocus Pocus Punch, Hotel Transylvania Rats, The Mummy, Mummy Dogs, Jack-o Lantern Pizzas, Jeepers Creepers Eyeball Cake Pops and Fright Night Vampire Cookies. Please bring $5 to Sra. Ruiz in room AN 56 or to Mr. Ly in Room AN 39. Come join us in making snacks so good they are scary!
The Black Student Alliance (BSA) is bringing back Halloween-o-Grams with delicious candy for your enjoyment. Write a message to a friend, teacher, or staff member for $2.50. The order form can be found on the flyers around the school or the BSA showcase. Orders are due by October 24, 2025. The Halloween-o-Grams will be delivered during Bobcat Block on October 31, 2025.
The HOPE club’s October meeting will be on Thursday 10/30 after school in Room 207. Stop by to play spooky medical puzzles and games, learn more about the medical field, and make new friends. Everyone is welcome! For more information, see the flyers posted around the school and join our google classroom!
