Want an easy way to support the sophomore class? Go to Chipotle! The Class of 2028 is holding a fundraiser at the Cedar Avenue Chipotle this coming Tuesday, November 18th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES: 

 

This month’s Cooking Club theme is Friendsgiving. Join us on November 20th at 2:05 PM in the Annex Kitchen as we make these delicious seasonal favorites: Friendsgiving Apple Cider Punch, Cozy Autumn Harvest Soup, Mac n Cheese, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cornbread, and Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. Please bring $5 to Sra. Ruiz in Room AN 56 or to Mr. Ly in Room AN 39.  

 

The 1st 3D Print Club meeting is this Monday, November 17th, after school from 2:15-3 in the Library. Learn how to use the Library's 3D printers and start printing right away. Join our Google Classroom, code u4ffj5ym, for further information or ask Ms. Fielding in the Library.

 

The HOPE club is having their November meeting on Thursday November 20 after school in Room 207. Come hang out with others who are interested in medical careers while learning about the digestive system and practicing real medical skills. See flyers posted around the school for more information.

 

Puzzle Society is meeting on Wednesday September 19th from 2-3pm in room 223. New members are always welcome! Join the google classroom with the code evndcsx.

 

The SADD Club's "Sock It To The Cold" Drive is back for another year! Please donate new socks for all ages. Every pair counts, so grab a pack to show some support for our neighbors in need. Together, we can make a big impact, one pair of socks at a time!

 

Model Congress is a new student led simulation of our legislative process. Members take on the roles of Senators and Representatives to write, debate, and vote on original bills. When we’re in session, students learn how laws are made while practicing collaboration and public speaking. We offer various leadership opportunities that are perfect for resumes and future plans such as Senate President Pro-Tempore, House “Majority” Leader, the House/Senate Clerk, and more! The classroom code is sbckvi4x. We’re looking forward to seeing you in session this Thursday in Room 157. 

 

ATHLETICS:

 

Interested in trying out for girl's basketball or want to learn more about the team? There is a pre-season meeting on Wednesday, November 19th, right after school in Room 124. See Coach Goslin with questions. 

 

Girls Basketball open gyms start this week! Times are as follows: Monday at 2:15, Wednesday at 3:00 pm, Friday at 2:15, and the final open gym will be Monday November 24th at 2:15. All interested in playing are welcome!

 

Boys Basketball open gym times have been changed to 4 pm-6 pm on the following dates: November 10, 12, 17 and 1
