Want an easy way to support the sophomore class? Go to Chipotle! The Class of 2028 is holding a fundraiser at the Cedar Avenue Chipotle this coming Tuesday, November 18th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. If you eat in, just tell the cashier you are supporting the Class of 2028 before you pay. If you're ordering online, use the promo code JP4XPVL. That's code J-P-4-X-P-V-L. CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES: 

 

Puzzle Society is meeting on Wednesday, September 19th from 2-3pm in room 223. New members are always welcome! Join the google classroom with the code evndcsx.

 

DECA will be collecting gently used coats from November 10th - November 21st. Look for our donation boxes at the Annex and in the Front Lobby of the High School. Coats will be dry cleaned and delivered to those in need. See Mrs. Barrett at the Annex with any questions.

 

Model Congress is a new student led simulation of our legislative process. Members take on the roles of Senators and Representatives to write, debate, and vote on original bills. When we’re in session, students learn how laws are made while practicing collaboration, and public speaking. We offer various leadership opportunities that are perfect for resumes and future plans such as Senate President Pro-Tempore, House “Majority” Leader, the House/Senate Clerk, and more! The classroom code is sbckvi4x. We’re looking forward to seeing you in session this Thursday in Room 157. 

 

ATHLETICS:

 

If you are interested in trying out for girls basketball this winter, please report to Room 124 after school tomorrow for our preseason meeting. See Coach Goslin in Room 233 with questions. 

 

Girls’ Basketball open gyms times for this week are as follows: Monday at 2:15, Wednesday at 3:00 pm,  Friday at 2:15, and the final open gym will be Monday November 24th at 2:15.  

All interested in playing are welcome!

 

Boys’ Basketball open gym times have been changed to 4 pm-6 pm on the following dates: November 10, 12, 17 and 19.
