It’s time for “this date in history.” On January 13, 1970, Shonda Rhimes was born. She is the writer and producer of popular shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” and “Bridgerton.” On this date in 1961, actress and producer Julia-Louis Dreyfus was born. Saturday Night Live helped launch her career and she had award-winning roles in “Seinfeld” and “Veep.” Thanks for listening to this date in history.
CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
Did you know that the Japanese language uses 4 different alphabets, many times in one sentence? On Thursday, January 15th, the Japanese Club will learn to read and write the Hiragana alphabet. Then we will enjoy traditional Japanese New Year's food while learning about New Year's in Japan. All are welcome!
