March 31, 2026
SCHOOL NEWS:
It’s time for “this date in history.” On March 31, 1776 Abigail Adams wrote to her husband John Adams asking him to “remember the ladies” in reference to the women who were supporting America's fight for independence from Great Britain. A strong leader herself, Abigail Adams was one of two women to hold the distinction of being married to a president and the mother of another (John Adams was the second president and John Quincy Adams served as the sixth president). In pop culture, many popular films were released over the years on March 31st including Tommy Boy, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Matrix, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and The Boss Baby. Thanks for listening to this date in history.
