On April 24, 1907, Hershey Park opened in Pennsylvania for the first time. Today, the park stretches over 121 acres, features 14 rollercoasters, and is widely visited every year. On April 24, 1982, Jane Fonda’s first exercise video was released ushering in a new wave of aerobics enthusiasts in the 80’s–the title of the video was one word–Workout. Famous birthdays on this date include actress Barbra Streisand and comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Thanks for listening to this date in history.
