The South Windsor High School Career Center offers a variety of assistance to students and parents preparing for post-secondary opportunities. It is located in the School Counseling office and can also be accessed from the hallway outside School Counseling.

During the school year, the Career Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from  7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., and on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


The Career Center provides access to a wealth of on-line and printed information to help with all aspects of college and career planning. Students and parents can expect to find:

•  Catalogs for hundreds of 4 year and 2 year colleges and universities
•  Information for technical and trade programs
•  Recruitment materials for United States military branches
•  Pamphlets for gap year or study abroad experiences
•  Standardized Test preparation books and class bulletins
•  Research guides for career and academic major exploration
•  Notices of college or career exploration events (i.e., open houses, auditions, test prep classes, career days)
